I decided to pick them before they dropped on their own. They may not have grown as large as the mother fruit from which their seeds came, but bell peppers they are just the same!

Their size may be modest, but they bring me outsized joy. There is something deeply satisfying about planting a seed, tending it with care, and being rewarded with a harvest—even one that fits in the palm of your hand. These tiny peppers are proof that in the garden, as in life, good things do not always come in big packages.

I’m quite proud of these little fellows, and to me, they are perfect.
